What: On the eve of the COP11 climate change meetings in Montreal and as a federal elections looms, Greenpeace will erect a mock oil pipeline and oil spill in downtown Vancouver while Canadian pipeline company Enbridge holds closed door meetings on its proposed Gateway Pipeline.
The pipeline will bring synthetic crude from the Alberta tar sands to Kitimat BC, endangering some of the provinces most pristine coastline.
